Description: This is a real piece of history in that the Wells Co. was part of the first wave that had invented the tap and die history in Greenfield Ma. Literally the start of American machining. Looks like that vast majority of dies are Wells. The taps is more of a mixed bag which is normal since taps tend to break and get replaced more often but the replacement taps all look to be USA made from a quick glance. It’s a pretty dirty set but could clean up.
