Description: Vintage A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens Barse & Hopkins Leather Suede VERY RARE! This is a very early copy of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. I cannot find the date, but I believe it is late 1800's to early 1900's. It has in inscription "To Aunt Maggie & Tillie From Ray & Joe Christmas 1930." I think it adds an amazing personal touch to this masterpiece. The book has been stored in its own box, and the box is labeled Savoy Series Christmas Carol Barse & Hopkins. The box has some wear, and one of the sides has separation (as seen in the photos). This 100+ year old book is in one of the finest conditions that I have seen for a book of its age. The soft leather/suede cover is in very good condition, and the pages have very little to minor wear. The pages are tight to the spine, and it is evident this was stored in its box the majority of the time. Most specs seen (on the cover) in the photos wipe off. The box measures approximately 4.5" across by 7.25" tall. The book measures 4" across by 6.75" tall. I am reluctant to let this go, and I am hoping it will find a good home.
