Description: Here is a good book to add to your library of trapping or fur trade. Or could also be used as an instructional reference if you want to do some snaring - authors such as this one had years of experience and their methods still hold true today. This book is now 78 years old. Size of this book is 8 5/8" x 5 3/4". 100 pages. Illustrated with black and white photos, drawings and a three nice artistic pages - a lynx, a fox and a marten. I believe this copy is a first edition. Covers are of a stiff cardboard - they had intended to make this a hardcover, but they were printing the book during the end of World War 2, when printing was too much dedicated to the war efforts. SNARES and SNARING By Raymond Thompson. Published by Fur Trade Journal of Canada Toronto 1946 The book has some stains on front and rear covers. Also name written inside. Otherwise interior overall condition is very good. No interior markings, staining or foxing. No torn or bent pages. No library markings. Binding sound. All text and illustrations clean and clear. See photos please. Returns accepted with full refund if you are not satisfied. (You would need to pay return shipping.) Sorry, no sales to Canada or anywhere other than 50 U.S. states. Book will be well packaged and shipped at my cost. If you visit someone, and you see no books in their house - Run Away! Run Away! XYZ-1-FJB-FKH
