Description: Diamant Road Frameset Featuring Columbus SL tubing, Campagnolo dropouts, and beautiful star (Stella) lugs, this Diamant frame is a collection of some of the best the golden age of cycling had to offer. We were unable to find another example of a similar Diamant, but based on the lugwork and geometry, we believe this frame was built by Viner, and appears to share the same specs as their top of the line Special Professional frameset. This particular frameset is a size 55cm. It's in good shape for its age, but shows wear and quite a few cosmetic blemishes. The frame shows some scuffs as well as paint chipping/peeling in quite a few spots (see photos). The fork shows some paint chips as well, and also has some surface corrosion on the dropouts and a few small bubbles on the fork blades (see photos). Overall, a rare road frameset that would make a perfect candidate for a vintage rider or base for restoration!
